Fees
We follow the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) Voluntary Code of Practice for Billing Private Patients for our fees. We are always happy to give you an estimate of our fees prior to surgery.
We accept most major credit and debit cards, BACS transfers and bankers drafts. A small fee may apply to credit card transactions. Cheques must be cleared prior to surgery.
There are several options to pay our fees:

Self Pay
Patients pay each of the three elements themselves: Anaesthetist’s fee, Surgeon’s fee, Hospital fee.

Fixed Price
Some hospitals offer a fixed price package that are all inclusive of hospital and medical costs. Our fees are covered in full.

Medical Insurance
If you have private medical insurance your insurer will ask for a code for the operation you are having and we are happy to estimate fees based on this. If you have an operation with multiple codes the second is charged at 50% and the third at 25%.
WPA Schedule of Medical Fees
Please note our fees are not set by your insurance company and sometimes your insurance policy does not cover the full amount and you will need to cover that shortfall yourself.
