Dr Nilesh Randive gained his medical degree from the University of Mumbai in 1998.
Following specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at Barts and The London School of Anaesthesia, he has recently been appointed as Consultant Anaesthetist at Broomfield Hospital and St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, Chelmsford, Essex.
Dr Randive has a keen interest in the management of difficult airways for head and neck reconstruction surgery. He is also an expert in regional anaesthesia for operations on the hand. He has a special interest in education and teaches on difficult airway management courses at the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
He describes himself as a 'people person'. When not at work he plays table tennis to a very high standard and enjoys listening to jazz music.
